This nautilus emerged from the stars one day when Catherine sat down and realized she was being called to embark on the artistic journey. Not quite of this world, the nautilus invokes wonder, mystery, and endless possibility.



This series highlights the beauty that can arise from the depths of life’s mysterious and dark spaces.



These watercolor paintings were created to bring light to the issue of our endangered wildlife, some on the verge of extinction. This will be an ongoing series, highlighting animals that roam on land and dwell in the water who need our attention and help.

“Precious Porpoise”

The Vaquita, the world’s smallest porpoise is on the verge of extinction. With an estimated 20 left in the wild, their population has dwindled due to entanglement in gill nets and poaching of their food source. Authorities and wildlife groups are fighting to save them but the fight is tough.

“Manta Moon”

The giant manta ray was recently listed under the Endangered Species Act. They are threatened due to overharvesting and fisheries bycatch. Although being listed is a great step, more needs to be done to protect these beautiful animals.
